Helping the fight against COVID-19

April 2020 | News

A boy scout from Maple Ridge, Canada has designed a 3D printed surgical mask strap
to help healthcare workers. When the mask strap is worn it improves comfort to those wearing it whilst increasing the tension against the individuals face.

Having put this design online, for anyone to use, Amfin picked up on the story and joined the support for the NHS by using our 3D printing capability and experience.

We are in contact with staff at local hospitals offering our help and support by supplying directly to them, in particular the Derby Royal Maternity Hospital.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if we could also support you.
